Where are you from?
I was born in Casablanca, Morocco, and mostly grew up in the Chicago land area.
What are your academic/technical/or energy justice interests?
I am interested in AI-based resource allocation and optimization. Specifically, I want to learn how AI can limit waste, better integrate renewable energy sources, and lower the cost of energy.
Do you have any hobbies?
I like to play chess, watch movies (I love dark comedies), and listen to music (I am very much a Beatles fan).
What are you most excited about for this program?
I am most excited to meet individuals who are very passionate about high-performance computing and its ability to tangibly improve at-need communities.
