2025 Program Archive

This bootcamp brought together 60 participants from across the United States with the goal of making the world of HPC more accessible. These participants had a broad variety of backgrounds, from community college to industry, and computer science to chemistry. Participants in the 2025 bootcamp worked on seven energy-related HPC/AI projects throughout the week. Some projects focused on enhancing machine learning models, and others demonstrated how HPC systems can be used to analyze fusion power, power outages, and design efficient solar cells. To ensure the successful completion of these projects at the end of the bootcamp, Participants were supported by 13 peer mentors and 7 national lab staff during the bootcamp, ensuring an effective learning environment.
