Hi, I’m Wiktoria Zielinska, and I’m excited to return as a peer mentor for this HPC bootcamp! I first participated in the program two years ago, and it was a defining moment in my journey as it introduced me to the world of national labs and showed me just how many opportunities exist in computing and research. That experience led to an internship, and I’m now proud to be working at the same national lab where I got my start. The bootcamp also motivated me to continue my academic journey, which led to me earning a Master’s in Computer Science. The skills and confidence I gained through this program continue to shape my career. I know how powerful programs like this can be, so I’m excited to support others as they explore the field and find their own path.
