Where are you from?
I’m a computer science student at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, originally from Nepal.
What are your academic and/or technical interests?
My academic and technical interests lie in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and software development—particularly how AI can be integrated with high-performance computing to solve real-world problems. I enjoy building full-stack applications, exploring new technologies through hands-on projects, and learning beyond the classroom through tools like ChatGPT, which has helped me develop problem-solving skills and deepen my understanding of complex topics.
Do you have any hobbies?
Outside of academics, I love singing, doing arts and crafts, and traveling. I also enjoy sketching and taking nature walks, anything that lets me be both creative and curious.
What are you most excited about for this program?
What excites me most about this program is the opportunity to learn directly from experts at Argonne, gain hands-on experience with advanced HPC systems, and connect with other students and mentors who are passionate about pushing the boundaries of computing. I’m looking forward to growing not only technically but also as a future contributor to scientific innovation.
