I am the first student in the University of Wyoming's Applied Software Development program offered by the School of Computing. At UWYO, I work in Dr. Ben Koger's lab developing software for conducting aerial wildlife censuses using convolutional neural networks (CNNs). This summer, I worked as a research aide in Argonne's ALCF Performance Engineering Group under Thomas Applencourt, where I worked on updating training material for SYCL, a single-source heterogeneous compute C++ abstraction layer.
