Where are you from?
I’m originally from LA born and raised!! Then my family moved from LA to Las Vegas in 2016 and now i’m currently living in Hawaii.

What are your academic/technical/or energy justice interests?
I am a Criminal Justice major with a minor in Data Science. I’ve done lots of research mostly in Social Justice fields. I’m interested in energy justice because without energy justice we don’t have social Justice, and with out social Justice we can’t have energy justice. They go hand in hand. I want to use data science to visualize patterns among social and environmental issues and how we can combat them together.

Do you have any hobbies?
I love reading books and going to the beach. I love exploring new food places and cafes. I truly enjoy finding new music!

What are you most excited about for this program?
I’m most excited to meet everyone! I love getting to know someone new and learning from them! I’m also excited to be surrounded with people who are interested in high power computing and see all the cool things we will do in the program.
