I'm from Ponce, Puerto Rico
What are your academic and/or technical interests?
I'm currently studying at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus, as a master's level graduate student. As a member of the Computational Materials & Engineering Laboratory, my current academic interests focus on computational catalysis research in general, with a focus on DFT and exsolution processes in particular.
Do you have any hobbies?
I enjoy learning about computational science and research tools outside of class, as it is useful for my future academic prospects. I also spend time working on creative worldbuilding projects, which help me think about complex systems, institutions, and long-term technological development.
What are you most excited about for this program?
I'm most interested in learning how to leverage AI for computational catalysis research.
