Where are you from?

Nigeria

What are your academic and/or technical interests?

I’m a Nursing student with a Biology minor, interested in combining clinical care with data-driven research. My focus is mainly on maternal and reproductive health, particularly understanding how policies and healthcare systems shape population-level outcomes. I’m also interested in statistical analysis and emerging applications of AI in healthcare, especially how large datasets can be used to uncover patterns, improve decision-making, and advance health equity.

Do you have any hobbies?

I enjoy all things reading and often find myself drawn to storytelling in different forms. I also dabble in writing narratives and spoken word pieces which allow me to explore ideas and emotions in a more expressive way.

What are you most excited about for this program?

I’m most excited about gaining hands-on experience with high-performance computing and learning how advanced computational tools can be applied to real-world scientific problems. I’m especially looking forward to collaborating with students from different disciplines and exploring how these technologies can be used beyond traditional fields, particularly in healthcare and population health research.
