Where are you from?
I'm from Peñuelas, a small town in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico.
What are your academic and/or technical interests?
I'm passionate about chemical engineering, particularly its applications in sustainability, materials science, and food technology. I’m also interested in exploring how computational tools like high-performance computing can enhance research in these fields through simulation, data analysis, and process optimization.
Do you have any hobbies?
I love reading, listening to music, and watching movies and series. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family, as well as cooking and baking, especially trying out new recipes and sharing them with loved ones.
What are you most excited about for this program?
I'm excited to learn how high-performance computing works and how it can be applied to my field of study. I'm particularly looking forward to understanding its role in scientific research and how it can be used to solve real-world challenges now and in the future.
