Where are you from?
I have had the opportunity to be from many places, but I've lived the longest in Minot, North Dakota.
What are your academic and/or technical interests?
I am enthusiastically pursuing a degree in Wildlife Biology and Conservation. I have grown quite interested in wanting to develop my own technical skills and utilizing technology such as GIS Tools in order to support research, and explore more approaches for community outreach.
Do you have any hobbies?
I love staying active and spending time outdoors through activities such as rock climbing, disc golf, biking, and road tripping. During the long Alaskan winters, I enjoy crafting, gaming, reading, and trying to learn snow sports.
What are you most excited about for this program?
I am very excited for the opportunity to learn more about high performance computing (HPC), how it is used, and the types of projects it supports. I am excited to be challenged and look forward to an opportunity where I can connect with others and collaborate on a project.
