Originally from Iraq; currently residing in Tennessee, USA.
What are your academic and/or technical interests?
My academic and technical interests include mechanical engineering, energy systems, fusion energy, construction equipment, and the use of technology and data to solve real-world engineering problems.
Do you have any hobbies?
In my free time, I enjoy learning about emerging technologies, following developments in energy and engineering, working on personal projects, staying active through fitness, and spending time with family and friends.
What are you most excited about for this program?
I am most excited about learning how high-performance computing is used to solve real-world problems, working with other students who share similar interests, and gaining hands-on experience with tools and technologies that are used in research. I am especially interested in learning more about how computing can support fusion energy and future energy solutions.
