What are your academic and/or technical interests?
I am a rising third-year Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, and Physics Major at Oklahoma State University. My technical interests include extreme environment engineering and cosmology and I especially like working in teams! Most recently, I have been interested in the design of space structures, habitats and life support systems in spacecraft. My current academic goals consist of taking full advantage of my exchange semesters to the University of Alaska Fairbanks in the Fall and California Polytechnic University in the Spring. Following my exchange, I hope to start a student organization focused on tackling NASA’s RASC-AL Student Challenge at Oklahoma State University.
Do you have any hobbies?
I like to rock climb, hang out with friends, play clarinet, travel, swim and thrift. I have recently got back into reading and my favorite genres are literary fiction and historical fiction.
What are you most excited about for this program?
An introduction into any scientific field is always exciting for me! I am eager to see what connections I can make from my coursework and what projects I might be able to dive into following my learning and experiences from this program.
