Where are you from?
I am currently a masters student at the East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. I attended my undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am currently in North Carolina, however I have previously lived in the Northeast and Southwest.
What are your academic/technical/or energy justice interests?
I am interested in code optimization as well as using data for data-driven decision-making. I mainly use SQL, Python and R – and I would love to expand my technical skills with these languages.
Do you have any hobbies?
I enjoy reading, and I have a dog (which is a hobby in it of itself). Figure skating is also my new found hobby. I played golf in high school and would love to get back into it. Let me know if anyone has any recommended books to read!
What are you most excited about for this program?
I am excited for this opportunity to meet different people from all over the US that are interested in HPC and Energy Justice.
