Hello everyone, my name is Mohammad, and I’m a senior at Wayne State University studying Computer Science. I participated in the Argonne Intro to HPC Bootcamp last summer, and I’m excited to return this year as a peer mentor to help support new participants through the experience. Outside of school, I’ve gained experience through internships with Wayne County and 2DaLoop, serve as President of the AWS Cloud Club at my school, and completed an NSF REU at the University of Michigan.
Some of my hobbies include basketball and football, gardening, collecting fragrances and rings, visiting coffee shops, birdwatching, and visiting Michigan’s Great Lakes. I also love learning about exotic animal species, as I grew up raising different bird species and now have two cats.
