Hello! My name is Milagros (Mily) Mendez, and I’m currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a minor in Germanic Studies at the University of Illinois Chicago. I previously interned at Fermilab, where I contributed to the MAGIS-100 experiment by developing a graphical user interface to support data acquisition for a magnetometer trolley system. I also attended the Intro to HPC Bootcamp last year, and I’m excited to return as a peer mentor. I look forward to supporting participants this year!
