Where are you from?
I am from Pawtucket, Rhode Island and ethnically I am Cape Verdean.
What are your academic/technical/or energy justice interests?
My academic interests are coding, especially things such as apps. But I am also interested in the entrepreneurial side of business. As far as energy justice I am interested in learning how I could incorporate it directly into my own community.
Do you have any hobbies?
I’ve been playing basketball my whole life and I recently picked up skateboarding so those are two things I currently enjoy. And I’m not sure if it’s categorized a hobby but I love hanging out with friends and speaking to new people.
What are you most excited about for this program?
First, I am very grateful that I even have the opportunity to participate in a program like this, it means a lot. But I’m excited to learn brand new things, meet new people, and most of all expand my knowledge in energy justice.
