Kareem is a recent SFSU Computer Science graduate who learned a lot of what he knows through hackathons, building projects with friends, and figuring things out as he went. His early interest in startups eventually led him to create Shipyard, a hackathon platform and his first project that really took off. Since then, he has become especially interested in creating software that people actually use and learning how to get it in front of real audiences through marketing and social media.
