Institution: The College of New Jersey
Where are you from?
I am from West Windsor, New Jersey.
What are your academic/technical/or energy justice interests?
I am an undergraduate researcher in Dr. Baker’s computational chemistry lab at The College of New Jersey. I would like to pursue a phd in computational chemistry. In terms of energy justice, I would like to explore different ways in which hpc systems can be used to aid in solving environmental and energy justice issues.
Do you have any hobbies?
I love boating, painting, drawing, and trying different kinds of herbal tea.
What are you most excited about for this program?
I look forward to learning more about using hpc and python efficiently. I also am excited to get to know others in the field, and to gain a broader perspective of the different ways in which advanced computing can be used to address modern problems. I hope to ask my mentors about their experiences in the field as well, and if they have any advice or insight in regards to how to be an awesome researcher. :)
