Where are you from?
I am from Rhode Island. However, I come from a Turkish/Albanian background and would visit Turkey every summer growing up.
What are your academic/technical/or energy justice interests?
I am mainly interested in artificial intelligence because I am currently majoring in Data Science. I also am interested in the ethical implications due to my other major in Psychology I wonder about the more philosophical side of things often. I am interested in how policy and laws are placed around high performance computing, especially with the large amount of data being stored I wonder how the security is maintained.
Do you have any hobbies?
I enjoy reading, riding my bike, nature, making electronic music, and making more miscellaneous art.
What are you most excited about for this program?
I am most excited to meet the people and see some driven young people working towards a good world.
