Where are you from?
I’m from New York City! I currently live in Harlem but I grew up in Brooklyn.
What are your academic/technical/or energy justice interests?
At the moment, I am a prospective engineering and math double major. I am passionate about energy justice because I believe in equal access to clean and affordable energy. The effects of unsustainable energy use on low income communities often go unnoticed, and I strongly advocate for prioritizing their access to clean energy solutions.
Do you have any hobbies?
I love crocheting and knitting and I have been doing this for years. Currently looking into sewing and making my own clothes. I also love making crafts here and there that show casts my personality.
What are you most excited about for this program?
I am extremely excited to meet and work with like minded people. Although I have no experience in high performance computing, I’m exhilarated to learn new skills and being able to apply them in real time.
