What energy justice topic is most important to you and why?
I believe in alternate fuel solutions. We don’t need to depend as much on fossil fuels. There are cities like Copenhagen, that are moving toward a carbon neutral initiative, changing their lifestyle to use alternate energy sources such as wind and water. The Bay Area has the capability of being the leader in decarbonization especially with three national labs in the area, we can pull our resources and research acumen to make this happen. Not only will these types of initiatives lower our carbon footprint but also improve our quality of life.
