Where are you from?
My home is about 30 minutes south of Salt Lake City, surrounded by mountains. The air is pretty dry, but the scenery makes up for it!
What are your academic/technical/or energy justice interests?
Currently, I’m particularly interested in AI and natural language processing. I’m very curious about finding a way for language and computer science to intersect.
Do you have any hobbies?
I have a passion for learning foreign languages, and I love to rock climb/lift. Otherwise, I draw, knit, and play video games.
What are you most excited about for this program?
I’m excited to work in a collaborative environment, and meet people from across the country. I’m hopeful about the projects we’ll create. I’m also excited to have access to this level of technology!
