Alexis Anderson is a current graduate of Tuskegee University where she obtained her Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics. Her journey in HPC began once she had the privilege to participate in the 2023 Intro to HPC Bootcamp in Berkeley, CA. Although, it was her first time, she quickly recognized the immense potential of advanced computing techniques in solving complex scientific problems. As a dedicated mentor, Alexis is excited to share her knowledge and experience with aspiring HPC professionals during the Bootcamp. She believes in fostering an inclusive learning an environment, encouraging collaboration and innovation among participants. Her commitment to education and enthusiasm for technology make her an ideal guide for newcomers to the world of high-performance computing. Outside of HPC, Alexis enjoys cooking, binge watching all of the Harry Potter series along with her favorite TV shows, and serving her community through various community service events.
